Cow Wow can be used as a soil soak or a foliar spray. Always rinse applicator before and after each use with clean water. Always dilute Cow Wow in water before application. Will not burn when used as directed.
For larger applications, apply with backpack, spray rig, fertigation or pivot at a rate of at least 20 ounces per 1,000 sq. ft. or 6.5 to 7 gallons per acre. The amount of water used is not critical, as long as at least the recommended amount of Cow Wow is applied.
For smaller applications, apply with a hose-end applicator set to at least 4 ounces per gallon.
Higher rates of Cow Wow may be beneficial during exceptionally stressful times of drought, heat and excessive use.
Grasses
Athletic Fields: Apply spring, summer, fall and additionally once a month during playing seasons.
Greens, Tees and Fairways: Apply as often as you normally fertilize.
New Seeding: Apply at same time as seeding and two weeks later.
Sod Installation: Soak soil before sod installation. Spray sod after installation.
Home Lawns: Spray blades with a backpack or hose-end sprayer to the point of dripping. Soak trouble spots.
Crops
Apply as often as you would normally fertilize.
Hydroseed and Hydromulch
Mix 32 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. or 11 gallons per acre. Pour into seed, mulch and fertilizer slurry. Amount of fertilizer may be reduced. Hydroseed as normal.
Trees and Bushes
Mix 4 oz. per gallon water for soil soak or foliar spray. Apply spring, summer and fall.
Vegetables and Flower Gardens
Mix 2 oz. per gallon water for soil soak or foliar spray. Apply every 2 weeks in growing seasons.
Houseplants
Mix 1-2 oz/gallon. Soil soak or spray leaves every watering.
Transplanting
Mix 2 oz. per gallon water. Fill holes with solution and allow to soak in. Submerge roots in solution until bubbles stop rising, then plant as normal.
